I was disappointed in that I was hoping to get another World Reference Atlas out by DK in 1998, which I don't think they've ever redone.That provided very detailed information re: stats of MANY topics presented in small colorful bar graphs, as well as other detailed information.This is still a really nice book, though, and the maps are detailed, which I like. I wish DK would print an updated version of the old books I still have, because nothing I've found compares to it, but this is still a really nice world atlas and would recommend it. Too bad that more pages aren't shown within the book to give you a better idea of what you are buying, though.
Book is too large yet the print is micro size if you don't have 20/20 vision don't get this!!! Very dissapointed!!!

I bought this same atlas in 2002 and it was really awesome. Now this new edition really disappointed me. There are not even information about the countries and the regions, as in the old ones. No satellite maps? That is so bad! Definitely I'm going to return it. DK does not make good books anymore.
